Panning conditions at Penny Pie Park
A number of constituents have been in touch about the situation at Penny Pie Park.
I have spoken to the planning department at BMBC and they have assured me that the fencing off of sections of the park does not mean that the works on site have started.
Before any work can commence, it has to be determined whether the conditions attached to the planning permission have been met and so the site has been fenced off to ensure the safety of the public and contractors during this period.
However I know that this will not alleviate residents’ long term concerns and so I have written to the Head of Planning to ask for a meeting in the New Year with myself and representatives from the Save Penny Pie Park Group to discuss the situation in more detail.
